(May 9, 2023, Shanghai) Recently, Hilong Marine Engineering (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. ("Hilong Marine"), a subsidiary of the Hilong Group, signed a service contract for a Thai offshore oilfield expansion project with a total value of approximately USD 12 million. This marks a breakthrough for Hilong Marine Engineering in expanding into the Southeast Asian market, injecting new momentum into its market diversification efforts.
Hilong MarineEngineering will provide engineering construction services, including seabed pipeline laying, expansion bend pipe installation, riser, and pipeline end termination (PLET) system underwater installation. The project is expected to commence in July of this year.
Hilong Marine Engineering stated, "In recent years, Hilong MarineEngineering has demonstrated outstanding performance in several offshore wind power projects, such as the single-point mooring project in the Bangladesh Sea operated by China National Petroleum Corporation, the Yangjiang offshore wind power project in Guangdong Province, and the pipeline laying projects in Bohai Bay Kenli and Bozhong Oilfield. Signing this contract demonstrates the recognition and trust industry leaders have in Hilong MarineEngineering’s project management capabilities and offshore engineering technology. The project will spur on the development of Hilong Marine Engineering in the Southeast Asian market."
