(November 20, 2020, Shanghai) Hilong Petroleum Group (Shanghai) Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Hilong Information) recently developed the "Winter Safety Production Monitoring System for Gas Pipelines in Extreme Cold Regions" (referred to as "Extreme Cold Monitoring System"). The system will be implemented at Hangjinqi gas field of Huabei Petroleum Bureau, Sinopec, to ensure production safety during winter.
The "Extreme Cold Monitoring System" can monitor real-time temperature data of gas pipelines in frozen soil areas, and includes a big data platform that can accumulate temperature data along the pipeline for long periods of time, providing data for low-temperature disaster management in frigid zone. In addition, in case of a congealing incident in the pipeline, the system can locate the blockage point and any movement in the blockage in real time, providing a strong guarantee for maintenance and repair in extreme cases.
This system is the result of a study conducted by Hilong Information market personnel who examined the gas pipeline of the Hangjinqi Gas Field Joint Processing Station of Sinopec North China Petroleum Bureau that passes through frozen soil areas. The pipeline was frozen and shut down last year when the temperature dropped to the lowest.The Sinopec North China Petroleum Bureau was in urgent need of products or solutions to monitor real-time temperature change data of gas pipelines in frozen soil areas. Subsequently, Hilong Informations's technical department actively researched and integrated the required products, and successfully developed the "Extreme Cold Monitoring System" based on the pipeline safety warning system, the optical cable temperature measurement system, and the big data platform.
